3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

To reserve a charter, the following is required:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Complete and truthful information
  • Payment of the required advance as outlined in the booking acknowledgement
  • Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Confirmation of your reservation is not complete until payment is received and we send a formal confirmation. We hold the discretion to deny service to anyone.

3.3 Availability

Charter bookings depend on the availability of vessels and favorable weather. We will attempt to accommodate your requested dates and times to the best of our ability.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

Prices are quoted in £ and include any applicable taxes, unless otherwise noted. Prices may be subject to change without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: A payment of 50% of the full cost of the charter is due at the time of booking
  • Remaining balance: Due 48 hours prior to departure
  • Incidental expenses (if any): Payable upon the charter's conclusion

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept key credit cards, wire transfers, and certified cheques. Payments are processed using secure encryption technology.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 72 hours prior to departure: Full reimbursement excluding processing fees
  • Between 24 to 72 hours prior to departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund is provided

5.2 Weather Cancellations

In cases where the captain judges weather conditions as unsafe, you may:

  • Reschedule the charter at no additional fee to the next available date
  • Receive a full refund if rescheduling isn't an option

5.3 Mechanical Issues

Should your assigned vessel experience mechanical failure, we will strive to provide an appropriate alternative. If this isn't possible, you're entitled to a full refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

Passengers must:

  • Comply with all instructions from the crew
  • Use the safety gear provided as needed
  • Declare any medical conditions that might impact their safety
  • Stay within assigned areas on the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly not allowed on board:

  • Glass containers
  • Illegal material
  • Weapons or firearms
  • Pets (unless pre-authorized)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. Should passenger conduct present a safety risk or causes disruption, we maintain the right to terminate the charter prematurely without a refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

We limit our liability to the cost paid for the charter. We do not accept responsibility for:

  • Personal harm resulting from the negligence of passengers
  • Damage or loss of personal goods
  • Indirect, incidental, or punitive losses
  • Delays due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We carry full marine insurance for our vessels and operations. It is your duty to obtain travel and personal insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Engagement in our charter services signifies that you recognize the inherent dangers involved in maritime activities and that you assume responsibility for your own security and health.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We reserve the option to adjust itineraries, courses, or schedules due to reasons such as weather, safety, or other operational necessities. We will endeavor to offer suitable alternatives when changes are necessary.

9. Force Majeure

We will not be held accountable for postponements, cancellations, or alterations stemming from events beyond our command, which might include, but are not restricted to:

  • Extreme weather events

  • Unanticipated mechanical breakdowns
